MIA the MONSTER

MIA is a playful, beautiful, and VERY intelligent dog. UNTIL she gets very curious or smells something delish in the kitchen or in the trash. JUST FYI she is a yellow lab/ German shepherd mix. She is about 11 months. .

For the past 10 months she has chewed up about 4 of her own beds and about 8 of her brothers Chico the Chihuahua. I stopped buying her when I figured she just doesn't care. I have to buy Chico a bed because he just wont sleep anywhere else but in a doggy bed. she has gone thru probably a 100 toys.

So today I had to rush to get to class because I was running about 30 mins behind. So I decided to start cooking while I took a shower, When I come out I knew she was up to NO good! I could hear her in the kitchen and I screamed "MIA"!!! I soon as she walked into the bathroom with her ears back I knew it was bad. I ran to the kitchen only to find that 3 of the 4 steaks that I had prepared were gone! YUP SHE ATE THEM! I yelled at her and she knew what she did was wrong she went into her cage all by herself! I quickly ran to the phone to call the vet to make sure nothing would happen to her. They laughed and said that she would be fine but just monitor her.  I just hope she grows out of this stage soon! Why can't she be more like my lovely CHICO the CHIHUAHUA! He just sleeps all day. But, it wouldn't be home with out my babygirl MIA to keep me on my toes! I wouldn't trade her for the world.

  1. My dog barbie eats all her beds to u know What I do .. I let her sleep on the cold floor for like a week she doesn't like it. Then when I get her a bed she won't chew it up for like a few weeks then it's like she forgets and she eats it again -__- she's dumb ..so now I just get her dog blankets and she don't eat those ..so try dog blankets or like a mat.

That sad puppy face with her ears back will be her saving grace!

  3. Aww. Don't be too hard on her...it's just her playful nature. Eventually when she gets older, you'll hope she still has some spunk.

  4. some dogs just need a different type of training, way before the get set in their ways. dogs like children, need discipline and the understanding of what they can and cant do. dogs will chew everything if you let them
